We want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk through our door, and empowered throughout your orthodontic journey. That’s why we take extra time to talk through procedures, answer your questions, and take the intimidation out of the experience. It starts with clear communication around appointments, treatments, and costs. It takes shape in the little things, like complimentary coffee and WiFi in our reception area. And it comes to life during every visit through friendly conversations and warm interactions that prove we love caring for your smile as much as we love getting to know you.

At Royal Orthodontics, you’ll be supported by two board-certified orthodontists—a title that only 30% of orthodontists hold—and a whole team of people-first pros who will be on a first-name basis with you before you know it.
Dr. Jamie Royal
Dr. Jamie Royal is a board-certified orthodontist and the proud owner of Royal Orthodontics. She is geek-level passionate about creating beautiful, bright, healthy smiles, and getting to know the person behind each smile.
As the daughter of an oral surgeon, Dr. Royal loves to say that dentistry is in her DNA. She’s obsessed with staying at the forefront of orthodontic research and technological developments, and her love for the practice is just as strong as her love for connecting with her patients, their families, and the Gramercy community as a whole.
Dr. Royal lives with her husband and three children in Westchester where she spends her free time staying active, trying out new restaurants, hitting balls on the tennis court, and traveling as a family.
Dr. Dan Popper
Dr. Dan Popper is a board-certified orthodontist with a passion for patient care, healthy teeth, and beautiful smiles. Compassionate and meticulous, Dr. Popper understands that each patient is unique and that each smile deserves custom, individualized care to support your smile goals.
As a specialist for both children and adults, he has an eye for aesthetics and the clinical expertise to diagnose bite problems and correct even the most minor tooth misalignment. His attention to detail and chair-side manner help his patients feel at ease instantly.
Dr. Popper lives in the West Village and spends much of his free time running along the Hudson River, exercising at the gym, and exploring every part of the city. He’s always open to new restaurant recommendations, so don’t hesitate to give him a list of your favorites at your next visit!

Luis
Orthodontic Technician
Luis has a high regard for both treatment knowledge and fun, and it shows in every patient interaction. When he supports orthodontic treatments—from wire changes to bracket removal, and all things in between—you’ll feel his commitment to delivering the highest standard of care alongside a dedication to making sure you have a few laughs along the way.
Outside of work, you’ll find Luis biking, playing various sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Daisy
Orthodontic Technician
Daisy has been in the orthodontics business for more than a decade. She absolutely loves seeing the transformations patients go through, and how happy they are once they see their final results. You’ll find Daisy working chair-side during procedures with our board-certified orthodontist, and behind the scenes to make sure things run smoothly.
In her spare time, Daisy enjoys running, spending time with family, and planning trips to travel around the world.
Cristian
Orthodontic Technician
You’ll meet Christian chair-side while he’s assisting the doctors with routine appointments, wire changes, debands, and more. One of his favorite parts of the job is seeing the journey patients take from Day 1 to Day Done, and watching them grow into their new smiles and newfound confidence along the way.
Outside of work, Christian enjoys spending time with his wife, Valentina (even when she kicks his butt at the gym), as well as their small poodles, aka the best part of their lives.
VITORIA
Financial Coordinator
As the office’s financial coordinator, Vitoria helps patients maximize their insurance benefits and understand the financial side of their treatment journey. She’s passionate about finding the best solutions available so that patients can achieve their smile goals in a way that feels financially accessible.
In her free time, Vitoria enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Cooper. She also loves traveling with her friends and boyfriend, and going to concerts.
AMBER
Front of House Coordinator
Amber’s smile is the first thing you see when you step through our office doors. She goes out of her way to remember names, personal touchpoints, and all the little things that make our in-office experience feel so human and approachable. You can also count on her to make the transactional and logistical aspects of your experience seamless and easy.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling with her partner, visiting new restaurants and exhibits, and binging podcasts. If you have a passion for a certain podcast, let her know—she loves recommendations!
DanielLE
Treatment Coordinator
Danielle’s loves connecting with patients on a personal level and strives to help make each visit approachable. She’ll walk you through treatment options and financials, answering all of your questions along the way so that you feel empowered and informed in your decision making.
Away from the office, Danielle loves traveling and dabbling in photography, and she’s a big fan of the Mets and Islanders. She lives with her husband, three incredible kids, and their three adorable Pomeranians.

Treatment Coordinator
I have the BEST job ever! Because I work at the front desk I get to see beautiful smiles coming and going all day. I mean what is better than that to fill your day! I enjoy helping patients with appointments, answering their questions, and getting to be a part of each patient’s orthodontic journey.
My loves in life are my family and travel. Although my time in NYC has just begun, I’m already in love with the nonstop energy. My time away from work is spent discovering every aspect of this incredible city.
